My first review while simultaneously drinking the beer.
Pretty average. That is what comes to mind when you taste this beer from a commendable name like Ayinger. Nothing differentiates this marzen - except for the fact that it came in a 500ml bottle and had a real nice cap and packaging.
Little to no head. Probably because i pour with a lot of care and very slowly.
Few bubbles of carbonation.
Amber color. Very neat.
Malt and lager taste written all over it.
A little smell of roasted malts which i do like here.
Not a beer to remember. I have had better marzens.
