Bottle poured into a dimpled stien.
A: Gorgeous orange amber color, lots of tiny carbonation bubbles rising up. Three finger creamy white head leaves webby lacing and retains nicely. Excellent looking beer.
S: Buttery, toasty malt smathered with toffee, honey and caramel sweetness. Lots of yeasty, wheaty baked bread, maybe just a touch of an earthy, noble hop.
T: Sweet, toasty malts. Grainy cereal, sweet honey and a some fruit (apples or, pears?). Bitterness is there enough to balance the caramel malt sweetness. Hops are earthy and herbal.
M: Lighter bodied but not AAL light, its a bit creamy and very smooth. It goes down easily and for almost 6%, drinks like 4.
O: This is good stuff, I could easily knock these back all night to celebrate the season. Of the Okto brews I've had, this is definitely one of the better ones, if not the best.
