Poured from a 500ml standard pressure-cap bottle into a tall weizen glass in high elevation Kalispell, Mont. Reviewed live.
A- Three-finger white fluffy head with sticky lacing and large bubbles. Active head that recedes after about two minutes. Semi-cloudy amber color with lazy carbonation. Ok looking beer.
S- What hits you first is the semi-grassy notes that remind me of German or Czech pils beers, but then a soft caramel and spice aroma comes into play. Very nice aroma, very German. I enjoy the juxtaposed notes.
T- Caramel, nutty flavors. Warm and slightly spicy.
M- A little syrupy, full-bodied with that lazy carbonation making it feel pretty thick. Leaves sticky dry feel in the aftertaste.
O- Good brew. Well balanced.
