Pours a hazey, honey-orange. The head is off-white, big and beautiful, and the lacing is a nice touch. Well carbonated and, despite the lil' bit o' cloud in this brew, a few bubbles sparkle through.
A rather prominent smell of bread and alcohol. Flavors lie within the same spectrum. Malty, yeasty, and sweet. The sweetness reminds me ever so slightly of the aftertaste one gets from eating cake frosting (icing). Medium-bodied, with a slight tendency to full-bodied...it's got a little "meat" on it. Finishes with a bit of spice...along the lines of clove and black pepper. A nice n' cozy kinda brew.
A nice fall choice. Would go nice with some sausage and lentils.
