Poured from a 500 ml bottle into a Ayinger Hef glass.
Beautiful golden/dark orange color with a huge 3 finger light brown head that had very good retention. Lots of carbonation seen rising. Quite an impressive start.
Aroma was floral with sweet malts dominating. Fruity and biscuity.
Taste was sweet malts with a honey-like undertone. Light hops. A strangely bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel was medium bodied with a much flatter feel to it than expected.
Overall, very drinkable. Goes down easy and would be a decent session beer. Better than I was expecting.
