By far one of the most beautiful bottles I have seen with a bottle cap with a Bavarian family drinking beer in a beer garden. I felt bad to take it off the bottle.
I poured this beer into my mass krug and saw a glowing pumpkin orange hue with, inch thick white head, and effervescent carbonation.
It smells like rich caramel malt, grassy/herby hops, and grains. The taste is a near balance of hop and malt siding on hops. Hops a re grassy and medicinal probably nothing but high quality Hallertau Mittlefruh. Malts are very grainy with caramel notes not too complex here. The joy is the hop bite hands down.
Mouthfeel is thin and surprisingly thirst quenching. This enhances its drinkability. Carbonation is tingly and pleasant. Drinkability is high, as this was designed for mass consumption. Overall a very good fest beer.
