.5 l bottle into spaten becker. they put a really nice bottle cap on this bottle.
A - completely translucent golden honey colour (no too much orange), with a two finger slightly off white head, leaning to the orange size of things. the few things I know about oktoberfestbier tell me the body could be a darker orange, and the head could last a longer while. not much real lacing.
S - a good malty lager nose, a bit of yeast. slightly sweet, has a bit of a tang to the nose, but mostly it is a standard malty lager nose, not a very strong one either.
T - kind of a bland beer, not much happening. the initial tastes slightly sweet and grainy, a bit toasted too. there is a bit of hoppy spice, but not much, only a prick on the tongue. the finish is sweet and malty, much like the initial taste, except with a bit of an apple taste. the aftertaste is a slight sweet maltiness, with a touch of toastiness.
MF&D - the feel is fine, but the only reason that the drinkablilty suffers is because of the blandness of the brew itself, otherwise the drinkability is good.
