Doesn't get much better than a true German Marzen on a cold autumn evening watching some football.
Poured into a pint glass. Yields a crystal clear amber body with a fluffy white head that settles into a thin foamy ring.
Aroma is very grainy with a faint herbal, tea-like hop aroma behind it. Faint toasted bread aroma in there too. Flavor follows the nose with a grainy, sweet malt backbone and with hints of caramel and more of the herbal tea hop aroma. Finishes crisp and dry but leaves a lingering sweet toast flavor. Moderate carbonation lifts the flavor off the palate.
