Appearance features a massive cream-colored head on a medium-dark copper beer. Bright clarity shows a few bubbles. Retention and lacing are good.
Hearty aroma is mainly of malts, with a lightly toasted quality.
Taste is rich and malty, bready, with a slightly sweet flavor. Not overly sweet, but nicely balanced with the malts taking center stage.
Feel is smooth and creamy, with a moderate level of carbonation. Finishes slightly dry.
Clean and easy drinking, this is an excellent malt-forward example of the style. Highly recommended.
This beer also features the coolest crown I've ever seen!
