From a 500 ml bottle into a pint glass.
A-Pours a nice golden amber color. Clear brew with very little head and only a hint of visible carbonation. What little head there is hangs around for bit and forms a collar of tan foam.
S-Mostly cereal and grain, with subtle tones of toffee and caramel. There is a nice malty character and a hint of alcohol spice to go with the grain. Not unpleasant, but not wild or unique.
T-Crisp malt (if I had only two words to describe this beer). There is a little honey sweetness to start, a touch of alcohol and bitter hops in the middle, and a toasty finish with a slight metallic tinge that wasn't particularly great.
M-I found this to be a nicely balanced, if lighter-weight beer. The carbonation is medium and the body is lighter. Very drinkable.
O-A nice O-fest lager that suffers from a strange flavor in the finish (maybe my batch was a bit old/oxidized?). It compares well against its competition, but is not going to set the world afire. If you want a drinkable brew this fall for a mild (not hot/not cool) afternoon, here you go.
