A- Cold hazed, orangish amber color. Big frothy head that sticks around.
S- Slight alcohol smell that gives way to sweet caramel malts and bready characteristics.
T&M- On the upper range of being medium bodied, has a good mouthfeel. Nice texture that is smooth and crisp. Bitterness is low which allows the malts to shine. Bready caramel malts are big and sweet. Slight alcohol burn gives a hint of spice to the mix.
D- Ayinger is becoming my German brewer of choice with brews like this. Very nice brew. The bottle version of this seems more raw but just as good.
Serving type: on-tap
