Poured into a weizen glass from a 16.9 oz bottle. I love the label with a billy goat toting a beer during a winter's night. I'm told the goat draws correlation to the naming of the beer, for Bavarians called the beer "bock" (confusing it with "beck". Einbeck being the place of its origination).
A - Pours an orange color so deep and cloudy that I'd almost say its gold. The head stands about three fingers tall and is incredibly fluffy; medium amount of lacing. Judging purely by the looks of it, I'd say it was a straight hefe, for I was expecting something slightly darker. This beer looks great; damn near aesthetically perfect.
S - Yeasty, banana, coriander. Not overly strong on the nose.
T - Fruity flavors, like those of bananas and citrus, hit the pallet instantly. Cloves, coriander and a bit yeasty. The alcohol is faintly present in the after taste. Has some tripel qualities about it. Pretty tasty.
M - Light to medium body. Carbonation is in check. Goes down smooth and finishes dry with some slight alcohol flavors as mentioned earlier.
D - Its very drinkable but better to enjoy steadily. Pretty solid overall.

This beer was a surprisingly delightful experience. I poured the cloudy, lively-colored brew into a glass and was converted into a weizen-bock fanatic instantly. I've tried a fair few now but I think this is quite possibly my favorite. Aventinus is another great one but it doesn't have the same refreshing quality. Vitus is great also but not as cloudy and substantial. I should add that I had this beer after a long day working outside. My thirst and desire for a cold refreshing beverage may have something to do with my decision to award this brew a near perfect 5.
