Citrus zest and butterscotch sing the praises of this balanced and zesty American Pale Ale.

Gnaw Bone pours with a bright copper apprearance, spirited carbonation, and a creamy white foam stance that retainse the session easily and adorns the glass with intricate patterns of lace.

The superb balance of malt and hops define the beer from initial sip until the crisp and refreshing finish, doing so with a base malt flavor of graham crackers, caramel, and butterscotch. The rebuttal hop profile of grapefruit zest, orange zest, and light lemon acidity gives a sharp and citrus taste that offsets the malt sweetness perfectly. The flavors of malt recess in the finish and allow for the hop bitternss to dictate in a dry malt and slightly resin finish. Strong are the alcohol flavors of detergent.

Medium-dry textures go ahead and promote a dry and warming finish far in front of what's normally expected of Pale Ales and more so found in IPAs. Very crisp as the mid palate ushers in an early fleeting malt character and an elevated hop bitterness, dryness, and alchol warmth.

Gnaw Bone is a strong Pale Ale that has the dry malt flavor and feel that's more normally celebrated in IPAs, but it's the buttery component of malt and the slight soapy taste in alcohol that detracts for me.

Clean orange-amber, with a thick head of foamy suds. Impressive, extensive lace.

Nose is full of crisp citrus, pine, and floral hops. Excellent!

Taste is grapefruit-citrus hoppy, smooth and well-balanced with the malts, though. A fine pale ale from a brewery I hope to drink more from in the future.

amber, with no real large head. What was there faded quickly but left a film of gooey, drippy lace skimming on the top, lots of eddys and swirls rounding about on it. Deep dripping lace down the glass, and a bit of a bubble stream coming up from the bottom. Smell was big and strong. Big citrus players here, lots of orange and grapefruit. Very sweet smell, like orange sherbert or candy. Very nice and plesing to the nose, smells like it will be a winner. Taste struck me as odd, after all the sugary itrus in the smell, none really came through in the taste.

This one pours light to medium in body and a really nice rich gold in color with a one finger white head. The nose on this one is really impressive. It's very clean and crisp and overly hoppy. It has almost a perfect hoppiness, clean and somewhat sweet due to a gumball aspect. Possible cascade and centennial? I didn't expect that type of a nose. The flavors are solid and clean again. It has a nice and somewhat sweet hop presence, again of gumball. It's very solid and pretty hoppy for an APA even. It drinks really well and is pretty refreshing. This is a solid APA and worth a try. I'm not big on this brewery but this is a very solid beer.
