They call this a red ale, but it is really an amber ale. They say it is English in style but really it is more American. Pours an amber color, with a nice head. Malty aroma, with a very slight hint of citrus hops. Nice rich malty flavor (Munich malt too?), and hop flavor. More balanced to the malt, but the hops pull through in the aftertaste. Fairly clear. Medium to medium-full bodied. Hops follow into the aftertaste. A nice drinker. Not exactly to any style, but a good overall beer. Not great, just good.

Standard slightly sweet amber beer. Mild hops, light sweetness comes through with pleasant aftertaste, a good session beer, no need for a lengthy review. On par with Saranac amber. Decent but won't knock your socks off. Wish to visit the brewery sometime.

A- Pours a deep, rusty amber, yet the body remains fairly translucent. Small, 1 finger, slightly off white head forms and retains well. Good lacing.

S- Lots of biscuit malts up front with some brown sugar sweetness backing it up. The latter half of the scent is more towards the hop side, with a touch of piney bitterness on the nose.

T- Predominantly malty up front and throughout the drink. Biscuit flavors from the scent are not as prominent in the taste, but still there. The hops bitterness from the scent transitions into the flavor fairly identically to finish the drink with a hint of a bite. Throughout the whole drink the brown sugar sweetness from the scent is very subdued and beneath the other flavors.

M- This beer is light across the tongue with a high level of carbonation. Really easy to drink, as neither the alcohol or flavor profile is overpowering.

Overall, just your average, everyday amber that a small brewery has to have in its lineup. Either needs more of the hops bitterness or more of the malt flavor profile to become more than just another micro flagship beer.
