My brother had a sixer of this waiting for me down in Florida.
Pours a super effervescent and slightly hazed gold with 3+ fingers of pearl white head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Green bananas & breadyness
T: Follows the nose, cloves, plus pears. More green banana, cloves & pears as this warms. Finishes medicinal, bready, & with more green banana
MF: Medium bodied, fluffed up carbonation
Not the best of the style, but pretty good

Poured from a bottle into my Pilsner Urquell glass
A: Cloudy, slightly murky dark straw, yet pale in overall look. Nice pillowy off-white head.
S: Immediate banana, then doughy yeast. Sweet bread notes.
T: Minerally banana. Midtaste sweet notes of bread and yeast (slightest hint of bubble gum but it subsides fast). Lots of wheat on the back end, kind of finishes dry too. Slightest floral after taste, some spice from clove and hops.
M: Medium bodied and on the more viscous side for this style, at least in my experience. Drinkable and refreshing.
O: Delightful to have on a hot summer day in Georgia while watching the World Cup Final. I'm trying to learn more about German beer and this was a great way to explore.

Very balance brew from Southern Germany. Great yellow color, with above the average thickness and density. A contender for a summer food companion. Mouthfeel just as good as the color, maintaining a hoppy taste from beginning towards the end. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Tried this hefe both straight from the bottle and from a weizen glass.
Pours pale yellow, rests a pleasant gold in the glass with a light 1cm or so head.
Taking a whiff brings in yeasty aromas, along with slight hints of fruit (banana) and cloves.
A very smooth drinker. Tastes go along with the nose. Wheat, more pronounced banana flavor. Pleasantly sweet aftertaste that likes to hang around. No noticeable hops to speak of. While smooth, this hefe is thicker than one might believe based on looks. Carbonation is light, which allows easy drinking.
This is a very nice example of how a hefe-weizen should be, and is my go-to for this type.
