Clear yellow, pure white head.
Sweet malt aroma, some honey in there as well as perhaps some pear.
Sweet malt taste that's nice and rounded. Full for the style, but of course still quite drinkable as it's a pale lager at about 5% abv. Not too sweet, but virtually no hop presence.
Goes down quick.
If you're looking for a smooth malty helles this is a good one; if you're looking for something with some grassy hops you'll have to look elsewhere. Quite good from the gravity cask.

Pours golden straw, clear but slightly cloudy, maybe a green tinge. Smells of fruity esters (bananas and pears) and some citrus. I'm a little worried this will be a Jolly Rancher. Head begins big and pillowy, but settles into a nice white lace that somewhat clings to the glass.
Pear and banana are immediately present, riding over an effervescent level of carbonation. Juicy flavors abound, along with some butterscotch, but still some bitterness and yeast character remind you this is a beer. Though rather fruity, there is a good equilibrium between those flavors and the malt, hops, and yeast. That balance and the high carbonation lead to a pleasant mouthfeel.
I'll get this again in the warm months. Probably serve it cold with dessert, or treat myself after a day out in the heat.

A clear, golden colored beer with an initial 2 inch head that settles into a thin white layer of foam.
Smell is strong on the malt and has a slightly pungent, sulfur-like whiff. Some straw notes also. Not unpleasant in any way.
Taste is light and has a pilsner-like taste, but with an extra on the malt side. The beer has a little bigger body than a pilsner would have and mouthfeel is also a bit bigger. Bitterness is medium, but leaves a lingering bitterness when swallowed. Carbonation is a little on the high side, which makes me burp alot.
