Pours a medium copper color with a white wispy head that fades to a ring. Aroma of citrus, honey, hoppy floral, and apple cider.
In the taste, expressive Belgian yeast that is times spicy and peppery, but there is a semi wild, bordering acetic taste. Pale malts and a tempered semi sweet flavor. There is a moderate hop bitterness which is really not the story here. This ale is proof that quality yeast makes quality beer. Medium bodied with a drying, spicy finish. Really impressive brew here from Weyerbacher. Add it to the big beer case! A great Belgian inspired strong golden ale.

Fresh from the brewery 3/18/14 but, bottled on 2/28. Real fresh. The nose is pungent hops. The taste is cleaner then you expect giving off a clear flavor profile from the hops. The mouthfeel is consistent to a belgian strong pale ale and the alcohol is there. Not sure on the abv but, it is prominent in the finish. I love this beer hope it can make it to year round production.
