The color is that of long unpolished tarnished brass, a thick sort of brownish-orange. It's almost muddy-looking, and completely opaque. The tan head isn't large but it's pretty tight. Lacing is left in moderate to heavy spotting.
There's a raw sort of sweetness on the nose before oily, resinous pine and citrus peel.
The flavor is primarily piney bitterness with definite citrus support. It's raw, earthy and lightly, but not overbearingly, pithy. Just a touch of biscuity malts adds balance. Fruity esters add an interesting element that runs all the way through.
It's about equal parts crisp and smooth, a good feel considering how thick it looks. It isn't particularly, and it's got a nice bite that carries through in its fairly bright medium body. It leans a little cloying, not from sweetness but that thickness does almost pull into it.

330 ml bottle poured into a Pint glass
Appearance... amber -orange beer with head colour beige of 2 fingers
Aroma... hops and a touch of malt.
Taste... citrus and herbal, bitterness appears soon lasting all the time,
Mouthfeel... medium-full body and soft carbonation
Overall... a very nice ale, bitterness is present being a refreshing beer too.
