Brownish orange in color, very cloudy and a good amount of carbonation that produces no head.
The smell is my favorite part of this beer. Lots of malt and caramel, honey and maybe a bit of dark booze on the nose.
Big taste, very malty not very sweet, slightly oaky, tastes a bit like rum. No after taste and don't really get any hops.
Thin mouthfeel, noticeable tannins. The bubbles balance the mouthfeel very well.
I'd order this one again if it were part of a flight of 2-4ozers, well made for sure, just a little big for my tastes in a 12 oz serving (on a Monday).
