A- Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thin white foam head that leaves decent lacing.
S- Huge caramel toffee malt in the nose with some oak and vanilla. Smells very sweet and boozy.
T- Incredibly balanced with loads of malt sweetness initially with a good dose of alcohol and a slight hop presence in the finish. Similar to the nose with caramel, toffee, toasted grain, dark fruits, oak, and a touch of char.
M- Full bodied and smooth with nice carbonation.
O- A very solid English Barleywine. Might have to pick up a few to throw in the cellar. I could see this doing really nice with a year or two to mellow out the alcohol.
