From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This nice ale pours a lightly
cloudy amber tinged straw color with a very nice head of white foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin pool, and features some very nice sudsy
lacing. Nose of mild citrus fruits, subtle sweet honey malts, and bitter hop notes.
Flavors follow the nose with grassy and bitter hops awash in subtle honey touched malts
with some pine and light lemon zest notes. Nice mouth feel, coating and lightly sticky on
the hop profile, and balanced by a light sweetness with a bitter finish and mild carbonation.
Overall a decent IPA that is not over the top on bitterness.
Cheers

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/22/2016. Pours moderately murky/cloudy orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Good appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, mango, melon, papaya, lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, peach, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, mango, melon, papaya, lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, peach, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, mango, melon, lemon, lime, papaya, citrus rind, pepper, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal hop astringency after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, sticky/resinous, and lightly bready/grainy mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Lagunitas mason glass.
L: Pours a cloudy medium golden color. Two fingers of foamy white head. Nice lacing.
S: Citrus... tropical fruits and floral hops.
T/F: Dry malts at the front... not much sweetness and has a predominantly citrus and tropical fruit hop profile.... heavy on the grapefruit/ Mild peppercorn notes... astringent. Good bitterness. Medium body with good carbonation. Finish is a bit sticky and oily.
O: Not the most exciting IPA in the world, but low enough ABV to be sessionable and overall decent. I actually like this more thna the DIPA's in the series. More true to style with fewer 'wtf' tastes going on. If you like grapefruit-heavy IPA's this might suit.

Pours a cloudy, medium gold with a two finger head and LOTS of sediment. Smell was ok - primarily grapefruit. taste was citrusy - mainly grapefruit. More on the bitter side, but not overly bitter by any means. Feel was medium-heavy and lightly carbonated. Overall, this wasn't a bad beer, just nothing spectacular. There are better IPA's on the market.

A clear gold color with a small white head that settled quickly. There was a tiny bit of lace.
Herbal, piney aroma. A little citrus. Sweet malt.
Piney taste mostly. A bit of grapefruit rind. Graham cracker.
Dry mouthfeel.
These go down quite easily.

L---Golden color with a nice head that left ok lacing.
S---Citrus & pine.
T---Pine & grapefruit. Bitter.
F---Medium feel. Good carbonation.
O---I love Weyerbacher, but this one was just lacking. No real personality.
