12oz bottle in a pint glass.

A- Muddy burnt orange down the middle, a bit brighter on the edges. One-finger head fades fast to a dirty-white film, decent lacing. Not pretty.

S- Sweet at first, a big dose of 9.0 abv sweet alcohol. More malt than hops.

T- Malty sweet followed by the simcoe hops, a bit of pine and citrus bitterness.

M-Thick and oily. Lasting hop finish, not too bitter.

O It's OK. More booze and sugar than taste and hop presence. Lacks flavor and bite for a DIPA. Not enjoyable overall.

Appearance is an opaque dark rust orange and poured a never ending head.

Smells of grapefruit and citrus in the nose and sweet malt on the finish

Sweet caramel and malt notes with a biter citrus hop finish.

Mouthfeel is thick and sticky just how I like my IPAs.

Overall a damn good brew and would most certainly sample again.

Poured from a bottle to a snifter.

Pours a magnificent orangeish-amber. Creamy foam head with decent retention. Not much lacing. A little murky.

Aroma is a strong balance of citrus, pine, and malts. Heavy on the grapefruit, and a little bit of orange.

Orange, grapefruit, and bitterness hit me first. A good deal of grassiness. Pine and caramel notes. A little less hoppy than I had imagined. Alcohol is masked incredibly well for 9%.

Medium-bodied, not too much carbonation. A little syrupy.

Overall, one of the more underwhelming DIPAs I've had. Not bad, at all, but definitely wouldn't be my first recommendation.
