Initial nice round fruit nose which hints at the intent.
Gorgeous almost perfect deep orange and brownish haziness which doesn't toally obscure the beading which is largely ubiquitous.
Nice balance of sweet sap and hop forwardness. The nose just fills the room and for quite some time too. One inch magnolia which is slightly rocky leaving complex lacing. Lots of complexity on the tongue and there's a fair amount of sugary sweetness in the background. This leads to a long sweet bitterness with some rubbery notes as it ends.

None too shabby. Feel I should like this more but there is just something which seems amiss here. Will need to retry it sometime soon.

Appearance is an opaque dark rust orange and poured a never ending head.

Smells of grapefruit and citrus in the nose and sweet malt on the finish

Sweet caramel and malt notes with a biter citrus hop finish.

Mouthfeel is thick and sticky just how I like my IPAs.

Overall a damn good brew and would most certainly sample again.

Poured from a bottle to a snifter.

Pours a magnificent orangeish-amber. Creamy foam head with decent retention. Not much lacing. A little murky.

Aroma is a strong balance of citrus, pine, and malts. Heavy on the grapefruit, and a little bit of orange.

Orange, grapefruit, and bitterness hit me first. A good deal of grassiness. Pine and caramel notes. A little less hoppy than I had imagined. Alcohol is masked incredibly well for 9%.

Medium-bodied, not too much carbonation. A little syrupy.

Overall, one of the more underwhelming DIPAs I've had. Not bad, at all, but definitely wouldn't be my first recommendation.
