Just nabbed this in a trade with DRINKNDRIVE and I'm pretty excited to have the chance to try a beer you don't see often in CA.
A: Poured a rich, hazy, brown/amber color with a nice two finger head. This head faded quickly, but left my glass well coated.
S: I guess that is what Simcoe hops smell like. Distinct hop smell. Very floral and a bit woodsy. A small citrus note pokes out.
T: Bitter, but still great. Almost a chewy hop-like taste. I'm tasting a doughy flavor.
M: Crisp flavor, with a body-overload. Palate coating, while remaining enjoyable.
D: Really tasty, but two of these would be too many in a single session for me. I'll keep this one as a treat and not try to session it.
