Poured from a bottle into a tulip.
A: Pours a cloudy, deep copper/ amber color with a nice head, decent retention and very good lacing. I'm loving this color.
S: Smells excellent. Quite hoppy. Floral, citrus, grapefruit and pineapple. Some alcoholic sweetness as well.
T: The taste is a tidal wave of hops. Sharp twang of citrus and grapefruit, bitter, a bit minty. The alcohol is blends in very well throughout and adds a touch of balancing sweetness. Slight grain in the back with more citric hops and some slight pineapple.
M: Medium body, smooth with a appropriate carbonation. Slick with hop resin.
Overall: Very impressive. The alcohol blends in very well for such a strong beer. I've never heard of an IPA, or any beer, utilizing only 1 variety of hop, and I would have never expected one to be so great.
