Brewed with barley, raw wheat and raw oats as per tradition. Hopped with Styrian Goldings for bitter, and Saaz for aroma. Fermented with a very special Belgian yeast strain. No spices; it's all from the yeast.

Appearance: Pours a hazy honey color with a rocky head that retains fairly well and leaves a few dashes of lace around the chalice
Smell: Sour and funky aromas dominate; unlike some other BAs, I think they have done a pretty good job capturing the barnyard here
Taste: Starts out a little funky but there is a floral and earthy element that creeps in to balance the murky flavors; after the swallow, it gets a little yeasty and the finish isn't as complex as I would like, but the malt does balance out the flavors
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with a spritzy level of carbonation
Drinkability: A pretty good stab at the style; not as good as some of the top flight Belgians but certainly among the better domestics
