Hazed chestnut brown with a frothy, well-retained head of light tan foam. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma of dark wheat, watery chocolate, clove, banana bread, and earthy and woody hops.
Flavor more intense; nice dark wheat, spice, clove, and banana, but also a light nutty, cocoa, and toasty note more akin to a brown ale. Earthy and herbal hops round out the finish. Fairly complex.
Body medium and very wheaty slick with a creamy texture and good drinakbility. An interesting and tastey take on the style. Another good experiment from the boys in Easton.
