Shaun bought over a 2012 vintage C&C bottle today, 10/15/2013. Thanks Shaun! Poured into a Three Floyds' teku glass.
Pours a very pretty reddish-pink body. Surprisingly, this comes with a relatively moderate head for a Wild- a 1cm pinkish head that dissipates slowly over time into a thin film. Not much lacing to speak of.
This beer smells so acidic, more of lactic than vinegar type of acidity. Tart raspberries and a little bit of oak, with hints of earthiness. Not superbly complex, but smelling this beer gives me heartburn, it's just that damn sour.
Sour, sour, sour. Mostly lactic sourness mixed in with tart, crisp raspberry flavours. Not overly harsh, very tasty. Again a little bit of oak and funk. This is not a funky framboise by any means- its pretty much a very sour raspberry beer that doesn't bring much complexity but it does bring what it advertises and in a clean, balanced flavour profile. I dig it.
Medium bodied, heartburn inducing, dry finish with tart raspberry fruit on the tongue. I cannot tell at all that this is a 11.40% ABV beer. I did not know this until I wrote this review. No wonder the night ended the way it did...
I really enjoyed this sour. Its not Lou Pepe Framboise by any means, but it definitely brings the sour and raspberry fruit flavour to the table. It's to the point, crisp and enjoyable. Dangerously so considering this is a huge 11.40% bomb.

Picked up a bottle of this on the recommendation of both bartenders at Always Ron's in hagerstown. They absolutely nailed it. I gave it a perfect taste, and perfect overall as I could not believe the ABV. Unbelievably drinkable for over 11%. Awesome, hope to buy again despite the cost.
