Poured into a pint glass.
3.5 A: Brown amber color. Two fingers of frothy head with below average retention, but tons of lacing.
3.5 S: Lots of dark malts. Crystal and roasted malt give off caramel. Just the faintest hint of smokiness.
3.5 T: I'm really disappointed. The taste itself is just fine, but it's rather weak in the smokiness department. I was really looking forward to it. Nonetheless, has a bit of smoky flavor. Other than that, it's just a brown ale. Lots of caramel flavor, a slight nuttiness to it.
3.5 M: Good carbonation, smooth, a bit creamy. Nothing spectacular and nothing deficient.
3.5 D: Run of the mill sessionable beer.
