A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a dark tan head that died down, leaving a patch of bubbles in the center and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of Belgian yeast and dark fruits are present in the nose along with notes of chocolate and roasted malts.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that the chocolate and roasted malt flavors are a little stronger. Little, if any alcohol or bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting stout that seems to exhibit properties of a stout and a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. The masking of the alcohol makes this very drinkable.
