A - Pours a nice deep ambery-red with a very small white head. Not much lacing at all and not very carbonated. An attractive looking beer. 4.0

S - Very faint smell of apple or cider, bit of yeast and malt as well. I wish there was a bit more of a nose on this beer but it's not unpleasant. 3.0

T - Slightly sweet with a very subtle bready flavor. Malt flavors appear in the middle of the sip and dissolve towards slightly bitter hopnotes at the end. Sourness and bitterness at the end make you crave another sip, which is pretty addicting! 4.0

M - Very thin body with little carbonation. I prefer my ales to be a wee bit heavier but this is still incredibly drinkable. 3.5

O - I think Weyerbacher has done a fine job with this beer. It's a little lighter on flavor and body than I prefer with amber ales, but definitely enjoyable and drinkable. 3.5

12 oz bottle poured into a nonic.

Pours a nice brown color with a finger of fluffy foam. Aroma is a cross between victory/nutty malts and a earthy hoppiness.

Basically this is a typical nut brown ale. Decently malty and nice flavor but nothing crazy amazing. A nice, good, drinkable beer that is buried in a category full of average beers. Give me a Double Simcoe over this any day!

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 09 something. They put a label over the stamp on the bottle. Sampled on December 25, 2013.

The color is a slightly foggy medium amber with a modest off-white head. It becomes a ring.

The aroma is malty and moderately sweet with a burnt caramel note.

The body is about medium and smooth.

The taste also has a firm maltiness up front and it ends with a low and clean crisp hop finale. It was an above average beer.

Bottle > Pint Glass

A - Clear orange amber with a finger of soapy white head, little spots of lacing
S - Slight earthy tones, sweet malt, caramel, a little roasty.
T - Some tart apple is in here, sweet caramel malt, a little grainy.
M - Kinda watery, and almost spritzer-like.
O - An ok Autumn beer, decent aroma, lacks in feel though.

Great beer, poured into a flat bottomed pilsner glass. Made a 3/4" substantially frothy cream colored head with plenty of lace that coats the glass for the entire serving. Appearance is a cloudy reddish amber. It tasted sweet yet a little dry with the fruit at the front and the malt after. Bought a case to share for Thanksgiving but probably won't have any left for company in 5 days
