AutumnFest is Weyerbacher’s own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish.

Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall – a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It’s a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer.
Weyerbacher’s AutumnFest, 5.4% ABV, is generally available in stores August through November. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a pretty, cloudy, copper/amber color with a quarter of a finger of white head that quickly dissolved into a thin halo of foam that gripped the sides of the glass and formed a few wispy clouds of foam that gathered in the center of the top of the beer.

Aroma: Malty and bready, like freshly baked sourdough bread. I get notes of caramel, black pepper and clover; however, I get next to nothing in the way of hops.

Taste: Malty and bready upfront, followed by some black pepper, honey and caramel-like sweetness. There’s just a hint of hops at the finish to round everything out.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with some pretty good carbonation, to tickle the tastebuds. With an ABV of 5.4%, there is no alcohol present on the palate.

Overall: This is a very good American version of an Oktoberfest beer. Great balance between malt, sweetness and subtle hops. I’ll definitely pick up a few bottles next year.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a tulip glass.
Aroma- a semi-sweet grain and hop aroma.
Appearance- a very nice copper/burnt orange color with a small white head.
Taste- A well balanced flavor of the hops and malt, no bitter aftertaste
Palate- light bodied beer with mild carbonation, goes down well
Overall- a very pleasant brew. I would definitely drink this again.

On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Dark golden in hue, sparse head & very little lacing. Aroma is very light but a hint of the malty goodness is there. Nice body & well balanced sweetness. At 5.4% this registers as a very friendly beer.

Served in my my at Estelle's in Boston.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a copper color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass.

Smell: Sweet caramel, toffee, toasted grains, and bready malts with some noble hops.

Taste: Same as above. A little sweeter than most though.

Mouthfeel: Smooth: chewy, a bit sweet, medium bodied, and medium carbonation.

Overall: A decent marzen/oktoberfest. A bit sweeter than most and it has all the other standard characteristics.
