Poured into a Funky Buddha Brewery snifter. Bottleneck says 02/11/2014
A- Pours an orangeish medium amber color with a 1/4 inch white head that retains a bit before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a center patch of sheer surface foam. Non-resilient lacing slides quickly down the glass leaving a broken ring behind and there are specs of sediment suspended in the body.
S- Sweet aroma has yeasty banana notes and some spice. Noticeable alcohol smell.
T- Rich Belgian yeast flavor brings more banana notes plus some bubble gum and spice. Alcohol is hidden quite well especially compared to the aroma.
M- Milky texture with some sharpness from the booze and spice. Medium-low carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- If this beer had more carbonation, it would be even better. But, as it stands, it's just a solid tripel with a nice intensity of flavor.
