12oz bottle -> tulip
Pours a mostly clear golden yellow with a small wispy crown of white head that settles to a small puddle of dish suds. Small rings of lace with scattered dots of lace up and down the glass. Carbonation appears minimal and moves slowly through a asteroid field of floaters.
Nose: Yeasty nose, with some light pear and candy notes mixing with ethanol
Medium full body, that goes down easy. Flavors lay heavy on clove and spice. Starts off very in your face and full with tons of flavor, pear, cherry, and lots of spice all meld and finish with a tart light bitterness.
A beer that I used to frown on when i purchased the Weyerbacher big beer mix case in the pass, no it's one of the one I appreciate and a damn good reason to pull the case. Only a couple will have you feeling Merry!
