A random selection from the store this evening and I was greatly surprised. As soon as I opened the bottle the fragrance was amazing very fruity (not perfume like , as someone else reviewed). Great Blond color, and nice lacing from the head. And deeeelicious with the first mouthful. Refreshing, full of flavor, a very well crafted beer. Well done Weyerbacker!

I have been on a Belgian beer kick for a while now, so this fit in well. It may have also lowered the score as I've had some great ones recently.

I had it on-tap in a tulip glass. Nice pale yellow color with a strong head.

The taste was very present bananas and went down smooth for the high abv. As it warmed some, the alcohol taste did come through more, however.

Light body and mouthfeel.

This is a beer that could get you into some trouble on a lazy summer day. One moment you feel great, 3 beers later you're in the neighbors backyard getting tasered.

Merry monks pours a bright golden color and is quite clear. A bright white head sits on top. The head is very tall and somewhat dense. As it fades away some lace webing is left behind.
Very light carbs.

The aroma is yeasty phenolic and alcohol. There is a slight perfume aroma form the alcohol.

The taste is malty and yeasty. Yeasty phenols give the beer a fruity taste. But all is dominated by a huge alcohol taste.
I don't much care for this one.
