Appearance is murky amber with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Somewhat funky, acidic, light vinegary, woody, vinous aroma. Taste is plum, red grapes, tannin, vinegar, light acid, oak, and wax ending moderately sour, leaving my lips feeling tingly. Light body with high carbonation.

Appearance: Pours a mahogany color with a rather modest head; a few squiggles of lacing

Smell: Tart cherries and caramel; a hint woody

Taste: Tart cherries, green apples and a hint of grape overlay the caramel tones; after the swallow, the wood comes through to add additional character

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; very effervescent

Overall: A very nice wild that once again redeems Weyerbacher's reputation that had fallen a notch after tasting their Last Chance IPA the other night
