Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.

Nice to see a new (to me, at least) stout tapped here at MF. It pours a straight obsidian topped by about a finger or so of light-ish sienna foam. The nose is sorta weak, thanks to the nitro-tap, but I do get some coffee, some chocolate, and some darkly-roasted malts. The taste holds notes of roasted malts, light coffee, cocoa, molasses, and a very faint hint of charcoal. The body is a straight medium, with a nice nitrogenation and a subsequently ridiculously smooth feel. Overall, this is one of the easiest-drinking stouts I've ever had. It ranks around Old Raspy and the like, and maintains a good amount of impy stout flavor despite the nitro-tap (which helps its drinkability a great deal). Good times.
