This beer poured much like oil out of the bottle. The beer rested in my tulip with a heavy black body and a nice toffe head that was several fingers deep. As the head receded it left much lace clinging to the side of the glass. the smell was quite roasty and full of alcohol flavoring coupled with some lucsh caramel and chocolate. The taste was full of the oatmeal stout flavors that you would expect only with an increased alcohol content and a little more of a warming flavor in the after taste. The mouthfeel was flat and smooth, just how I like my stout. This was an excellent beer and a good experiement.
