I picked up a six-pack of Stoudt's Triple Belgian style ale the other day. I love the abbey triples, especially Westmalle and Rochefort. You know, for the price, and the availability, I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase and would buy this brand again. Actually, its now Easter Sunday here in Georgia, and like every other sunday, the liquor stores are closed due to the Blue Laws.
A lot of reviewers talk about the head, the aroma and the mouthfeel. Its good. The head wasn't much to talk about, and there are strange, delicious things that pour out of the bottle--all of them good! I do like the color though, kind of bright orange-gold.
I plan to stock up on these and tell my friends about them too. They are really potent however, and you shouldn't plan on doing too many physical activities except laying on the couch!
