Poured from the bottle into a chalice, leaves a basic white one finger head with an orange first golden color. Opaque with very tiny carbonation bubbles. Cloudy with some lacing.
As for smell, very closed and muted bouquet and a faint sweetness of sugar common to tripels. There is a faint though smell of some type of sweet red apple.
Taste is well balanced, giving a slight hop bitterness, and some club soda like tinge. Some cloying honey sweetness also, but some carbonation on the finish and some hop and mustyness.
I could have another one sure.
