Love the label art... Looks like a goat from Jersey. Haha!

A- Nice clear copper brown in color with a 1/2 finger tan head.

S- Malty with lots of hops. Difficult to pinpoint the style by the nose alone

T- I don't think its fair to classify this strictly as a doppelbock because of the intense hoppiness. Lots of floral hops in both the body and finish without completely decimating the malt profile

M- Medium bodied. Pretty low carbonation. Sticky and sweet.

D- Its interesting and kind of wish I'd picked up a whole 6er instead of just a bottle to try

12oz. bottle poured into a porter glass.

A- Beautiful. A deep, translucent amber, with a dense, fluffy off white head. Laces fantastically.

S- Bready, caramel malts with an earthy hop component. The hops work surprisingly well, and make for a really tasty interplay of malt and hops.

T- A nice, bready, caramel and cracker malt bill. Big lager yeast presence, and some mild dark fruit. Closes with some earthy hops that come off almost minty. Lightly bitter on the finish.

M- pretty thick, certainly feels like a doppel. A creamy character that I find on a lot of Stoudt's brews.

O- Looks fantastic, mouthfeel is pretty great as well. Smell Falls a bit short, and I could use a bigger hop presence, but it's pretty darn tasty.
