Pours a lightly murky amber color with a big fluffy khaki head that falls slow and laces pretty well.

Aroma is nice malty lots of over ripe fruit notes, with some wet tobacco leaves. Kind of funky but I kind of like the aroma.

Taste lots of malt notes mostly bready like with touches of caramel or light toffee hints maybe, Some fruity notes for hop flavors ripe again, with some light lingering pine bitterness in the finish. Not an exciting amber but pretty solid easy drinking brew.

Mouthfeel is medium with fairly mellow carbonation levels.

Overall worth a try, wouldn't replace my go to amber but not a bad little brew either.

Had on tap in a pint glass.

Pours a clear deep red with an off-white head. Lacing is great although the head retention is so-so.

Aroma is on the faint side but there it has a slightly sweet note with some biscuit and a touch of rye.

The flavor follows the aroma with more rye, hints of some moderately toasted malt and a very high bitterness. Hops are somewhat spicy nicely complimenting the rye notes. Finish is very dry.

Overall, a decent beer but honestly it is pretty average and nothing really sticks out. I do love rye beers but this one is just a tad watery and a bit unbalanced.
