I had the pleasure of attending Stoudt's Brewing for the third time recently for a private event. I had a marvelous time on the prior two occasions at the Black Angus. I found the quality to be top notch w/ a great deal of attention to detail. The decor is very interesting w/ plenty of antiques decorating the place and breweriana that includes classic Stoudt's items.

the salmon and vegetables were served at a good temperature and had great flavor. The German fare I had in the past was also well prepared. I appreciated the selection as I was able to sample the Winter ale, Abbey Triple, IPA, Fat Dog Stoudt, Pils, and Scarlet Lady ESB, I was too full to taste the Old Abominable for a second time.

The value is incredible for what you get, I had a great time and would recommend the place to anyone passing through Adamstown. My Aunt and Uncle from Arizona were there over the summer and were pleased with their visit also since they are antique collectors. You will be well served at Stoudt's, I have never had anything less than top notch service.

The exterior looks new, but the interior is vintage. It has interesting history... There are lots of fun and unique antiques. It is unique and totally fun!

Ate at the restaurant and had some beers. The decor in the restaurant is an attempt at German beer house, but it seems a bit dated and stale. I've also been to a beerfest that was in the back "indoor beer garden" area.

Quality of the beer is okay, they do basic styles well, but nothing very innovative. But you can find a beer you would like. Service was good. The food is steaks and German and PA Dutch cooking - sausages, spaetzle, schnitzel, etc. It was okay.
