Paid $6.99 for a 6-pack...
The beer pours slightly hazy and amber colored with a nice medium sized white head. The aroma is a blast of some of the most wonderful smelling hops I have come across, not too strong, just right.
The taste is an extension of the aroma, but the problem is that there are no other elements worth noting but the hops. It somehow over-powered a malt taste that I could barely find, nor a fruit note. It feels great in the mouth with the head retention just right and this is a classic session beer... albeit, maybe not the model "Pale Ale".
Final Thought: Pale Ale or no, this is one of the best brews in the Midwest that I have come across, excellent brew!
