It cannot get darker than this and with a very tan huge head with great retention and leaving a curtain of laces. So far hard to beat.
Aroma with predominant notes of dark chocolate, roasted grains and some licorice.
Roasted flavor with notes of coffee beans, spices, tobacco, oatmeal, vanilla, herbal hops, charcoal and dark fruits. Dry aftertaste with a roasted feeling.
Full velvet body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 12% abv is incredibly well disguised. I would say it is actually lower, after drinking the full bottle.
Tasty and balance RIS, though a bit too focused on roasted and burnt malts, still made with good execution and sure worth tasting.
