On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.

Pours a clear copper with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, caramel, and bread aromas. Taste is much the same with toasted malt, caramel, nut, and bread flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with nice toast and caramel qualities that make this one tasty and easy to drink.
