On tap @ the source for Grand Pre during SDBW.
A: Pours black with a relatively thick (1/4") mocha head which leaves splotchy lace.
N: Trace cherry, sweetness, and marzipan.
T: Cherry with some almond nutty notes. Slight clash with the roasty coffee and chocolate.
M: Full body and semi-moderate carbonation. Cherry stoutish finish with slight wood.
O: Somewhat biased here due to the sense this has soured or oxidized, which is not the case. I'm sure some will certainly like this, but not so much for me. Tied for 3rd place in Lap 1.
