Notes/Commercial Description:
Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee beans are grown in the fertile soil of some of the highest Caribbean peaks, making it one of the most prized gourmet coffees in the world. This rare coffee uses lightly roasted Arabica beans to create subtle acidity and a well-balanced chocolaty finish. With the help of local roaster, Mostra Coffee, these 100% Blue Mountain beans were sourced from the renowned Mavis Bank Coffee Factory in Jamaica. Carefully roasted and cold-brewed, this coffee is the perfect complement to our award-winning Imperial Stout.

I brought this one to Pre-Ffej this year.

A - Pours jet black with a big frothy one and a half finger tall tan head, slowly dissipating down to a light film, leaving sticky webs of lace on the sides of the glass.

S - Smells of intense fresh brewed coffee, toffee, vanilla, toasted nuts, dark fruits and plenty of dark roasted chocolate malt. The coffee is off the charts, just as I was hoping for.

T - Starts off much like the nose with lots of bitter fresh brewed coffee slowly being joined by the other dark flavors like dark fruits and the chocolate malt as well as the sweet vanilla, toffee some toasty nuts. Finish is really roasty, lingering long after the finish.

M - Heavy body with moderate carbonation. Super roasty, bitter feel would make it hard to really go through the whole bottle but in small doses it is superb.

O - This is probably the most coffee forward of all of the speedway variants I have had. I would love to try this one barrel aged. As it is this one is awesome, proving yet again just how versatile speedway truly is.
