Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of superb floral coffee notes with some roasted malt note sis quite awesome. Taste is a nice mix of floral coffee notes with some roasted malt and light chocolate notes with a hint of residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Solid coffee stout with nice level of complexity while retaining a great deal of drinkability.

Appearance: Pours onyx, with a frothy mocha head that fades a little quicker than expected; a nice dancing pattern of lacing lingers on the glass
Smell: Chocolate and coffee with a modest roast
Taste: Chocolate forward with coffee building; a subtle dose of hops emerges in the middle, but the finish is a return to the chocolate and coffee
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation; creamy
Overall: Hadn't realized how old this was when I bought it a few months back; still a great beer even if the coffee may have faded to some extent

Bottle.
A: Moderate roasted grain mixed with mild coffee, with a pronounced bourbon char and vanilla character that lingers through the finish..
A:Black color, totally opaque, with a moderately thin tan head that has adequate retention. Light lacing is left in the glass.
T: Moderate bittersweet/coffee like malt flavor, accentuated with light coffee. Slightly boozy with a light alcoholic character.
M: Full bodied with moderately light carbonation.
O: Tasty; the beer is starting to fall off a bit. The Kona coffee character is definitely more restrained than when fresh. For some reason one of the bottles consumed had a metallic note. Having said that, this beer is still super tasty and drinkable.

Start to fall off a bit, should have drank more fresh. The coffee is really subtle at this point and tasting closer to the regular speedway stout than one infused with coffee.
