loud sizzle on this puppy, the head vaporizes in a flash, bright and golden glowing, lots of disorganized carbonation is running clumsily around the glass, a thin layer of foam sticks around due to the furious pace of carbonation, decent enough looking
dry and musty with very light hints of tropical fruit, kind of reminds me of chardonnay or something of that ilk, nothing over whelming and nothing off putting
alot of belgian style ales go a little much into the spice flavor for me, not here, really super smooth, and where o where are you hiding the ABV? I feel it but damn it is no where in the flavor, you get just a hint of the coriander in the finish which balances nicely with a slight bitterness and ever so slight candy sugar tone, in a way this is a very subdued beer... but I really like it for that. in terms of mouth feel it drinks super smooth, the carbonation is subtle (and from looks you might have been expecting a mess in that department)
I don't often drink belgian style ales... but when I do...
but then again I am about the least interesting man...
this stuff is super solid, it drinks ultra slick and watch out for that ABV. a damn well rounded beer.

On tap at the Blind Lady Alehouse on the 4th of July in San Diego.
Appearance: Excellent clarity in the amber body. Small but semi-durable white head. Head leaves some sticky streaks and spots on the glass.
Aroma: Sweet biscuits, yeast and faint tropical notes.
Flavor: Fruity, slightly tart, mildly bitter. Banana and clove evident, as is the higher ABV. Seemed to have a narrow tempeature range for optimal flavor and balance. Moderate complexity. Relatively good finish and aftertaste.
Feel: Light-medium body with medium+ carbonation. ABV mostly evident.
O: true Belgian style and quality.
Serving type: on-tap
